Our campground is located right in the middle of Mývatn’s attractions, overlooking Mount Hverfjall and Hlíðarfjall. Open all year round, it’s the perfect base for exploring Iceland’s most dramatic volcanic landscape.
All guests have access to an indoor kitchen and dining room, heated all year round — perfect after a long day of hiking or stargazing.
We have spots for tents, campervans and motorhomes with electric hook-ups. Guests can empty black water from their RVs and refill with clean, drinking water.

No Reservations Required
We do not take reservations in advance. Payment for the campground must be made upon arrival.
Self Check-In
Scan the QR code placed in the facility houses and on the campground. Select your vehicle type and number of guests. Pay using a card (Visa, Mastercard, ApplePay).
