What Our Guests Say
The Guesthouse has all the facilities that one need for a short stay in Myvatn region. The shared toilet and bathroom are well maintained. The room are clean and well maintained. The kitchen is pretty big and has all kinds of pans and kitchen utensils. Daddy’s pizza is right next to the guesthouse and the pizzas are really worth a try if you stay here and you also get a 15 % discount for people staying in the guesthouse.
The property looks new and is modern and comfortably furnished. There is a large kitchen and a large lounge with some tables and sofas. The rooms are small but comfortable. They have a sink and adequate sockets. The bathrooms are very modern and there are enough toilets starting. We got stuck in a snow storm there and the owners offered us directly without asking for us to stay longer than 11:00 (check-out time) and kept coming back to update us regarding the road conditions and the storm.
A room with a private bathroom, which was a luxury on our trip! The house is in a quiet location and at night we could see the Northern Lights there thanks to the low ambient lighting. Everything was clean, there is nothing to complain about.
The room we booked had very nice and clean beds. Even if the kitchen and toilet are shared, they are well kept and clean. Kitchen is very well equipped and modern. You can cook or bake anything you want. Location is also very good because it is close to the center of the town so you can buy groceries from local supermarket and also very close to the Myvatn Nature Baths. It also very close to the Hverir, Namafjall and Dimiburgir. All these places are within approx. 10mins drive.
