1. Daddi's Pizza

Right here in the heart of the Myvatn area, just a stone's throw from our cozy guesthouse. Established in 2009, our little pizzeria is a true local gem. The name is not a misspelling of the English word „Daddy“ as many might think. The name is actually a nickname for the Icelandic name Þórhallur, which is one of the owners of the company!

Now, about our pizzas – they're a celebration of local flavors, crafted with care from the freshest ingredients. We source locally whenever we can and select the rest with equal attention. The result? Pizzas that capture the essence of our surroundings.

Whether you're grabbing a takeaway or enjoying the fresh air on our patio with views of lava fields and mountains, we're here to make your pizza experience special.

And for drinks? We've got a selection of sodas, wines, and local beers. No need to plan; we operate on a relaxed, first-come, first-served basis. Swing by whenever you fancy a taste of local goodness. Daddi's Pizza – where the flavors of Myvatn come alive!

Visit DaddisPizza.com to find our mouthwatering menu, customize your perfect pizza, and place your order with just a few clicks. Choose your favorite toppings, select the size, and even add special instructions – it's that easy!

2. Vogafjós Restaurant

Situated adjacent to a cowshed, Vogafjós Restaurant offers a distinctive dining experience in the captivating surroundings of Lake Mývatn. Dedicated to showcasing local flavors, the restaurant boasts a menu featuring an array of homemade delicacies.

Guests can relish in house-smoked trout, succulent lamb shanks, flavorful beef burgers, and enjoy mozzarella and salad cheese crafted from the farm's own milk. The signature Geysir bread, freshly baked in the underground bakery, adds a unique touch to the culinary offerings.

Set against the backdrop of Lake Mývatn, patrons can immerse themselves in the ambiance while enjoying the exquisite flavors. For a captivating experience, daily milking sessions at 7:30 am and 6:00 pm can be observed through the restaurant's glass windows. Guests are also welcome to step inside the cowshed, where they can interact with the calves and sample freshly drawn milk.
